The Presidio County team is comprised of four intermediate judges: Trevor Klein, Tanner Klein, Brielle Gonzales and Huck Roch. Also participating in Saturday’s contest were members of Ector County 4H.

The day’s judging incorporated three performance classes and one halter class. Trevor Klein achieved the top overall score for the day, marking a 180 out of a possible 200 points, followed by Tanner Klein, Brielle Gonzales and Huck Roch.

Their horse judging win comes on the heels of their district win in horse bowl earlier this month over Crockett County.

Presidio County Extension Agent Jesse Lea Schneider is the horse judging and horse bowl team leader.
